Our House Centre Coordinator
Lucy is a highly skilled and versatile professional with a diverse background. She has been a freelance writer and social media manager for the past eight years and holds a PhD in Victorian Literature from the University of Sheffield and an MA in Creative Writing.
She is now the Centre Coordinator at Our House, a brand new community space for the LGBTQ+ community in Wakefield, where she will help create a space that works for them.
Lucy's primary goal is to make Our House the go-to space for the LGBTQ+ community in the Wakefield District. To achieve this goal, she plans to involve the local community by building awareness, holding events and activities, and collaborating with other organizations.
She will also make sure that Our House is a safe and inclusive environment for all members of the LGBTQ+ community by establishing a code of conduct for the space and volunteers.
